Vienna Montessori Institute

The Vienna Montessori Institute's charter is two-fold, as the umbrella organization for the International Montessori Preschool Vienna and as a Montessori teacher-training center in Vienna.

Founded in 1996, the Vienna Montessori Institute held the first primary-level teacher-training course in Austria in 2013-14, graduating twelve students from Austria, Slovakia, Romania, China and Japan.  It was the first AMI course since Dr. Montessori taught in Tirol, Austria, in 1952.

The Institute further has offered numerous topical workshops on Montessori topics by AMI trainers over the years, keeping up with new developments in the language area.
